The carvings are inspired by ancient stone carvings in Ireland and Scotland, applying ancient symbols with a contemporary twist. Each bandana is not only meant to be worn, but acts as a protective garment. Brú na Bóinne is an ritual an burial mound in Ireland that is over 5,000 years old. The large boulder at its entrance is covered in spiral and diamond carvings, cultivating a powerful presence to this ancient mound that honored the sun, the winter solstice, and the markings of seasons.
