17 x 17 inch silk bandana botanically dyed with acorn and indigo and block printed by hand, making each piece one of a kind. I harvested and processed the acorns where I live in Chumash territory. 
 
Each bandana is one of kind, botanically dyed with plants and printed with hand carved blocks. The carvings are inspired by ancient stone carvings in Ireland and Scotland, applying ancient symbols with a contemporary twist. Each bandana is not only meant to be worn, but acts as a protective garment. 
 
Small batched botanical dye is non-toxic on your skin, more water efficient and overall leaves a smaller impact on the environment. The nature of using botanical dyes is that fading may occur adding to the element of the piece, aging beautifully with time.
