"Imbas" refers to the sacred poetic inspiration that was harnessed by "fili" or the ancient druids who were high ranking priests, teachers and judged in Celtic culture. Imbas refers to ability to channel poetic visions and recieve great restricted or esotetic knowelege. This inspiration was believed to come from the Otherworld, Tír na nÓg, the Celtic spiritworld. The entrance to Otherworld is held in the springs of great rivers where it was guarded by a dragon. In many ways, this piece is a depiection of how the land holds great knowledge and inspiration.
